My family doesn't like it when I bark at people and dogs. Why? I try to protect them. I never see them growling to assert their dominance over passing animals. So I should, shouldn't I? Their all so weak a fragile, they don't have any threatening teeth. I have to protect my family.

I am not overly enthusiastic about all these Bastide towns and Beau Villes and Grande Sites.
Too much stone. Not enough trees or grass.

One more stone covered market. This time in Martel.

At least there are patches of grass near our place in Turenne.
Courmonte was better: inside the castle grounds there was a nice bit of grass, and some interesting trees.
This is Martel where the humans bought weird things that you can't really eat like truffle salt &  moutarde violette.

Day trips are fun. I sleep in the car. When we arrive I get a drink of water. Then we walk around. Lots of dogs. When I try to protect my family they just don't understand, they want me to be quiet. But you never know about dogs, better to be safe than sorry...... Lots of stone everywhere, different colours, but just not enough grass.  The ristorante people always make a fuss of me, and give me nice cool water. Sometimes Melissa sneaks me some leftovers. I Yum.

Afternoon walk: Watchtower: Chateau Turenne
Near our place - good views I am told, but I couldn't see over the stone walls everywhere.

Some things don't change. Still being dressed up.

Don't leave me at home by myself. The Cat's mean to me.
